Privacy Policy

Execuday is run by Execuday LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use execuday.com and the Execuday app at app.execuday.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@execuday.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored by our hosting provider, never in plain text).
- Workspace content: projects, tasks, calendar entries, time-off requests, notes, and anything else your team adds. This belongs to your team.
- Billing details: plan, billing name and email, billing address and tax details where needed, and payment status. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor, and are never stored on Execuday's systems. We only see limited details Stripe shares with us, such as card brand, last four digits, and expiry date.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. On the execuday.com website only, and only if you accept analytics cookies, this can include recordings of how you move through the site (clicks, scrolls, and pages), with anything typed into forms hidden. We don't record sessions inside the app. We use this to understand what works and fix what doesn't.
- Messages and feedback: anything you send to support or through our feedback form.
How we use it
- To run the app, keep your account secure, and send emails the service needs (sign-in, invites, time-off approvals, billing receipts).
- To answer support requests and improve the product.
- To send product updates if you opt in. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email in one click.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your workspace content for advertising.
Who helps us run Execuday
We share data only with trusted service providers we need to run Execuday: hosting and database, website hosting, payment processing, product analytics, and email. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if Execuday is ever sold, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Payments
Stripe processes all payments for Execuday. When you pay, Stripe collects your payment details directly and uses them to charge your card, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements, as described in the Stripe Privacy Policy. We never store full card numbers or security codes.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. On the execuday.com website, we use analytics cookies (from providers such as PostHog) only if you accept them, and you can change your choice any time from the cookie banner link at the bottom of the site. Inside the app, we use PostHog to count which features are used (for example, that a task was created), linked to an anonymous ID rather than your name or email, and never including the content of your tasks or time-off notes.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and workspace data while your account is open. If you delete your workspace or ask us to delete your account, we remove it within 30 days, except for records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (such as invoices). Backups roll off on our hosting provider's schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing support@execuday.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have more rights, and we'll honor them. We'll reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you within 72 hours.
Children
Execuday is for work teams and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above and email workspace admins before it takes effect.
